Glentoran will host Belfast ‘Big Two’ rivals Linfield at the BetMcLean Oval in a mouthwatering sixth-round tie of the Clearer Water Irish Cup. The Glens will aim to take another step toward lifting the coveted Irish Cup for the first time since 2020 and securing their 24th triumph in the competition. Glentoran secured their place in the sixth round with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Championship side H&W Welders in the fifth round. The sixth-round ties are scheduled to take place on the weekend of Friday 31st January/Saturday 1st February 2025.
