Glentoran FC confirm that Gavin Peers has left the club to pursue his carer with Warrenpoint Town.

Peersy joined the club from Derry City in the January 2019 transfer window. This season he made 30 appearances, scoring once and missing out on a starting place in last week's  Sadler's Peaky Blinder Irish Cup matches due to a niggling injury picked up in training.

Mick McDermott said of Gavin: "I would like to wish Gavin the best for the future. Not only was he a great player for Glentoran, but also at all times a man of honesty and integrity. Gavin was a solid performer week in and week out who gave his all for the Glentoran badge every time he wore it. I would have liked Gavin to remain at the club for another season but we wish him the best on his new journey and can assure him he will always be very welcome at the Oval".

Thank you and best wishes Peersy from all in the Glentoran Family. Le Jeu Avant Tout.
