Glentoran was recognised at today’s Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association Awards, with Jess Foy named Women’s Player of the Year and four Glens players included in the Premiership Team of the Year.
Foy’s award follows a strong season in which she played a key role in Glentoran Women securing the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title.
Ryan Cooney, Cameron Palmer, Patrick Hoban and MJ Kamson-Kamara were all selected in the Premiership Team of the Year.
Hoban had been shortlisted for Player of the Year after scoring 31 goals, while manager Declan Devine was also nominated for Manager of the Year.
MJ Kamson-Kamara was also shortlisted for Young Player of the Year, while Nadene Caldwell joined Foy on the Women’s Player of the Year shortlist.
