Four Glentoran Women’s players feature for Northern Ireland in Reykjavik

Four Glentoran Women’s players featured for Northern Ireland senior women’s team in the second leg of their UEFA Women’s Nations League A/B play-off against Iceland women’s team at Þróttur Stadium in Reykjavik.

Club captain Nadene Caldwell once again led her country from central defence, while Kascie Weir started in attack and went close early in the second half.

Emily Wilson and Mia Moore were introduced from the bench as Northern Ireland battled to find a breakthrough. Aimee Kerr was also part of the travelling squad as an unused substitute.

Despite a 3–0 defeat in Reykjavik, and a 4–0 aggregate scoreline, Northern Ireland produced two determined performances against top-tier opposition
