Five Glentoran Women’s players feature for Northern Ireland

Five Glentoran Women’s players featured for Northern Ireland senior women’s team in their UEFA Women’s Nations League A/B play-off first leg against Iceland on Friday 24 October 2025 at Ballymena Showgrounds.

Club captain Nadene Caldwell led out her country out on the night and filled in at centre-back, while Emily Wilson and Kascie Weir were also named in the starting eleven.

There was also a proud moment for Mia Moore, who made her senior international debut after coming on in the 61st minute and Aimee Kerr was also introduced as a substitute in the 76th minute.

Tanya Oxtoby’s side will now travel to the Laugardalsvöllur Stadium in Reykjavík for the second leg on Tuesday 28 October (kick-off 6:00pm).
