In form Conor McMenamin has won two individual awards for his unplayable form in October.
Firstly Conor was awarded the month’s Dream Spanish Homes Player of the Month by NIFL and NIFWA
Conor scored five goals as the Glens finished the month at the top of the table. He said of his award: “I’d like to thank Dream Spanish Homes and the Football Writers for this award. I'm really enjoying my football at the minute. The team is doing great and these awards are really for the whole team. I feel like we have a really good camp, we enjoy coming in every day and the gaffer signed well in the summer so we are seeing the benefits of that.”
Conor Mac also won this month supporters’ vote for the Glentoran Player of the Month. He won 35% of the fans’ vote with Hrvoje Plum runner up and Bobby Burns third.
Conor said to www.glentoran.com: “Thanks to all the supporters who voted for me. I really appreciate it, though truth be told it could have been any of the boys. It was a great month for all of us and hopefully we can continue our good form.”
