In May 2017 a Glentoran 1st team and staff will travel to Detroit to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of our famous “Detroit Cougars.” Glentoran FC will play an anniversary match against Detroit City FC on Saturday 27thMay 2017. A one off shirt will be worn for this match. There will be 20 outfield and 2 goalkeeper shirts produced. These shirts will NOT be made available on general release to supporters via Glentoran Superstore.
We are offering supporters the chance to own one of the 18 shirts ( 16 outfield and 2 GK) that will be worn at the match in Detroit. The shirts will not have a player's name but will be numbered. Sponsorship will cost £175 and there will be an open draw (exact date tbc) prior to Glentoran travelling to Detroit. Payment will be required before the first week in May.
Note the extra four shirts made will be allocated as follows:
One will be framed and hung in GFC Board room.
One will be used in the draw for those who purchase a 2017/18 season ticket before end of April 2017.
Two will be used at auctions at two different events throughout the season to raise funds for Glentoran.
