Cookstown Glentoran Supporters’ Club have named Marcus Kane as their 2024/25 Player of the Year, presenting the award to the club captain at a recent home fixture.
Marcus, now in his 14th season at the club, has made over 450 appearances since joining Glentoran in 2012.
A modern-day club legend, he has lifted the Irish Cup on three occasions and worn the captain’s armband for the past eight seasons.
The 33-year-old defender made 35 appearances across all competitions last season, once again delivering strong and composed performances at the heart of the Glens’ defence.
Glentoran congratulates Marcus on his award and extends sincere thanks to the Cookstown Supporters’ Club for their continued support.
