Today’s contract extension is Joe Crowe, who has signed a 2-year extension to his contract and will remain with the club at least until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Joe signed for the club from Linfield in September 2019 and has made 62 first team appearances. His opportunities this year were limited due to the form of those in possession, but Joe played a major part in our Sadler’s Peaky Blinders Irish Cup win 0f 2019-20, having started in every round, including the final. His value to the squad was shown again in April when he gave a majestic performance in a makeshift defence at Solitude, contributing very strongly to a 2-0 away win over Cliftonville.
Joe said to www.glentoran.com on signing his contract: "I’m delighted to be staying at the club with this new contract and I’m very excited to see where the project is heading over the next couple of years. I’ll play whatever part the management want me to play if it helps the team do well.”
