In response to widespread speculation, the club can confirm that Conor Pepper has left Glentoran FC
Mick McDermott: “We made Conor an offer back in October last year and continued discussions throughout early 2020 and up until recent weeks, but despite these discussions it became clear there wasn’t going to be an agreement that was mutually acceptable.
Conor has been injured the past 3 weeks of training and hasn’t played in any of our warm-up matches, Conor also shared with us this week that he has agreed terms with another club so he’s been excluded from our squad for the Irish Cup.
Conor is a great lad and a very good trainer. He’s been good to have around the club, so I thank him for his service to Glentoran the past two seasons. I sincerely wish him the best in his new venture. We remain committed to our project at this club and will move forward to strengthen our already strong squad between now and the start of the season.”
Glentoran thanks Conor for his service since Augiust 2018.
