The Board of GFC1882, representing the wide base of minority shareholders of the club, is delighted to welcome Colin Davidson as a Director.
Colin is a lifelong Glenman, a very familiar face at the Oval and a long serving member of Raven GSC. He played a very valuable role at the club in recent years, having very successfully launched and managed the Supporters Players Fund since summer 2017.
Colin said on his appointment: "I am delighted and honoured to be elected to the GFC1882 board and I recognise that the work the previous board members have undertaken has made the role less arduous. Thanks to the GCT for putting my name forward and I am looking forward to getting involved. I should also add it is a privilege to represent the Raven GSC on the board of our club".
Colin has been elected to serve as one of the two representatives of the Glentoran Community Trust, alongside John Moore. He has been a member of the Trust since inception. The GCT said of Colin's appointment: "Colin is held in very high regard by everyone on the Glentoran Community Trust Board. We would place on record our sincere thanks to Colin for accepting his new role and are delighted to have him represent the members of the Trust".
The GFC1882 Directors are delighted to have Colin on the team and look forward to him using his many talents to the benefit both of GFC1882 and also to Glentoran Football Club as the club continues its climb in the months and years ahead.
