Glentoran Football Club can confirm that talented young defender Callan Farley has extended his loan spell with NIFL Championship side Warrenpoint Town, remaining at Milltown until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 19-year-old Academy graduate continues his development with The Point, where he has already made a significant contribution this campaign, recording 16 senior appearances across all competitions.
Following promotion last season, Warrenpoint Town have made a solid return to the Championship and currently sit eighth in the table, with just five points separating them from Queen’s University in fourth.
Farley previously enjoyed a highly productive spell at Warrenpoint during the second half of last season, making 14 appearances as the club lifted the NIFL Premier Intermediate League title.
Declan Devine, Glentoran First Team Manager, said: “Callan has already played a significant amount of football this season and that experience is invaluable at this stage of his career. Regular minutes at Championship level will continue to challenge him in a competitive environment and support his ongoing development. This period is about consistency, learning and exposure to senior football and we will continue to monitor his progress closely throughout the season.”
Farley joined the Glentoran Academy in 2019 at the age of 12 and has progressed steadily through the Club’s player development pathway, graduating from the Glentoran Elite Scholarship Programme and going on to captain the Glentoran Seconds.
The defender made his senior debut for Glentoran in April 2024, starting in a 4–0 victory over Crusaders and also featured in the European Play-Off semi-final against Coleraine.
Everyone at Glentoran Football Club wishes Callan every success during his continued loan spell with Warrenpoint Town.
