Nadene Caldwell and Gracie Conway were recognised at the Ulster Footballer of the Year Awards on Monday evening, collecting the Women’s Player of the Year and Women’s Young Player of the Year honours respectively.

The awards, organised by the Castlereagh Glentoran Supporters’ Club, celebrate the leading performers in the local game.

Caldwell’s award follows a standout season in which she played a central role in Glentoran Women’s title success. A consistent presence throughout the campaign, she scored in the final-day decider against Cliftonville as the Glens secured the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title.

Conway was honoured for her impressive 2025 season with Lisburn Rangers, where she scored 23 goals in 39 appearances and established herself as one of the most promising young players in the local game.

The Northern Ireland youth international joined Glentoran ahead of the 2026 season and has already made an early impact, opening her account in the recent League Cup win over Linfield.

Glentoran also thanks the Castlereagh Glentoran Supporters’ Club for their continued organisation of the awards and their contribution to the local game.
