Ballynahinch Glentoran Supporters Club proudly presented their 2024/25 Player of the Year Award to former goalkeeper Dániel Gyollai at Saturday’s away match against Dungannon Swifts.
Dániel made a short visit to Northern Ireland during the international break to catch up with former Glentoran teammates and received his award from members of Ballynahinch GSC in recognition of an outstanding season between the posts.
The Hungarian joined Glentoran in the summer of 2024 and quickly became a fans’ favourite.
He was named in the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Premiership Team of the Year and also collected the Glentoran Supporters’ Player of the Year Award.
His unforgettable goal in the Sports Direct Premiership win over Cliftonville was one of the moments of the season.
In July, Gyollai completed a move to Kolorcity Kazincbarcika SC in his native Hungary.
Glentoran thanks the Ballynahinch Supporters Club for their continued support and congratulates Dániel on this well-deserved recognition.
