Ballymac POTY 30th Anniversary Celebrated

The 30th annual Ballymac GSC Player of the Year Awards were held on Saurday 6th October in the Ballymac clubrooms.

To mark the significance of the anniversary, eleven past recipients of the Player of the Year award, representatives of the cup winning Glentoran Women squad and lifelong supporter Allen Davidson were our honoured guests on the night.

2018 award winners were:

Ron Manley Memorial Player of the Year:  Elliott Morris.

Jackie McCausland Memorial Young Player of the Year: Dylan Davidson

Jim Campbell Memorial Merit Award was presented to Tim Atkinson, the Linfield Doctor for his quick reaction and keeping Allan alive when he took seriously ill at out away match with Linfield last September.

Ballymac Chairman Thomas Sewell: “The Officers  & Members of Ballymac Glentoran SC would like to thank everyone who supported last nights 30th Annual Player of the Year Dinner.

Cheques were presented to Glentoran Ladies, Kelly Bailie of GWFC for her Testimonial and to Glentoran FC to assist the team with their training facilities.
