We have been advised by Institute FC that part of the main Belfast to Londonderry will be closed on Saturday for road works. This will have an impact on travelling time to the Brandywell so our supporters are encouraged top leave at least 30 minutes earlier than normal.
During the closure a diversion will be in place. Institute have suggested the following revised route:
According to the AA the normal hourney is 72 miles and should take 1 hour and 29 minutes. The following other routes may be considered:
Belfast - Dungiven - Ballykelly - Londonderry 78 miles, 1 hour and 41 minutes
Belfast - Coleraine - Londonderry 89 miles, 1 hour and 56 minutes
Also to accommodate easier departure, the Glentoran Remembrance Service at the Oval will commence at 10.30am and finish at 11.00am at the latest.
