Allen Davidson has been named Glentoran Superfan 2018/19 at a NIFL event held this week at the National Stadium at Windsor Park. The Danske Bank Premiership Superfan Award was launched back in February to recognise supporters who go the extra mile for their club.
Allen, a familiar and popular face at Glentoran matches home and away for many decades, suffered a heart attack at our away match with Linfield last September as he watched the team. He has now made a full recovery and everyone assicoiated with Glentoran is delighted to see him back following the Glens. We all wish him good health to keep doing so for many years to come.
Superfan nominations closed on 31st March 2018 with a total of 280 entries across all 12 Premiership clubs.
