Each season, Glentoran Football Club offers young supporters the unforgettable opportunity to lead the team out at The BetMcLean Oval as an official matchday mascot.
Our Mascot Programme is open to children aged 5 to 11 years, giving them the chance to walk side-by-side with their heroes, feature in the official Glentoran Gazette, and receive a personalised certificate to commemorate their day. Where possible, mascots may also enjoy additional experiences such as meeting first-team players or a behind-the-scenes tour, subject to match scheduling and approval from the management team.
The 2025/26 programme has now been fully allocated. However, we invite applications at the beginning of every season and would encourage parents and guardians to check back here for details on the 2026/27 campaign.
Children must be aged 5–11 and have a full Glentoran home kit.
Priority is given to those who have not been mascots in the previous two seasons.
For Boxing Day fixtures and major cup ties, places are allocated via an open draw due to high demand.
Mascots receive two complimentary match tickets. One concession and one accompanying adult ticket.
Mascots and guardians must report to The Oval 30 minutes before kick-off.
The Matchday Mascot experience makes a truly special birthday or Christmas gift and creates memories that last a lifetime.
