Glentoran Football Club will host an Easter Soccer Camp 2012 at the Oval on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th April 2012 (10am-12pm) for budding young footballers from across East Belfast.
The Glentoran Easter Soccer Camp 2012 – co-ordinated by the Glentoran ‘Our Club, Our Community Programme – will provide boys and girls, aged between 7 and 11 years old, with the opportunity to play football, have fun and develop their skills, regardless of ability.
Russell Lever, Community Relations Officer for Glentoran Football Club, said: “The Glentoran Easter Soccer Camp provides Glentoran Football Club with the opportunity to open its doors to the local community and provide budding young footballers with the opportunity to train on the Oval’s pitch.
“The two day camp will aim to provide children with a positive introduction to football and help them develop their skills, have fun and make new friends. It will also introduce them to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, whilst teaching them important qualities such as respect, discipline and teamwork.
