This weekend the Glentoran Academy 2011 team were due to travel to Brussells to compete in the European Cup. Ahead of their trip they had undertaken a number of fundraising activities to help them finance their journey. With the tournament cancelled, they kindly donated £300 to the doctors and nurses of the NHS based at the Ulster and City Hospitals. This was to thank our NHS workers for their time and sacrifices in fighting Covid-19 and saving so many lives here in Northern Ireland. The boys' message said "We love you all and thank you so much. We hope you all enjoy the treats during your break."
