Founded in 2016, the Glentoran Inclusion Academy offers children and adults with cognitive or physical disabilities the opportunity to enjoy football in a safe, supportive and empowering environment.
Open to players aged 5 and up, the Academy delivers weekly training sessions led by qualified coaches, supported by a strong partnership with parents, carers and professionals. The focus extends beyond football, promoting social inclusion, building friendships, and developing confidence through sport.
The programme includes regular competitive and friendly matches, as well as participation in tournaments across the UK and Ireland. Sessions are adapted to suit all abilities, helping players reach their full potential both on and off the pitch.
Glentoran Inclusion Academy proudly champions equality, fair play and respect. It is a place where everyone, regardless of ability, background or belief, can feel valued, included and connected to the Glentoran family.
