Glentoran U15 6 - 0 Albion Star
Saturday 13th October

The Glentoran Under 15 produced a competent performance to beat a spirited Albion Star team by 6 goals to nil.

The wee Glens started strongly and went in quest of goals and by half time were leading 2-0 thanks to a brace from Gareth McGrattan with his second being an excellent finish from a tight angle following a strong run.

At half time team management took the opportunity to make a number of changes and the new look team again pushed forward from the start of the second half.

The ever reliable Craig Spiers swung in a corner which was met by Darrian Shaw to put the Glens three goals to the good.

Next to score was Captain Conor McGrattan who spotted the keeper off his line and from the edge of the box produced an excellent chip to give the keeper no chance.

Further goals were added by Lewis Adair and Man of the Match Scott Kane to leave the final score 6-0 in favour of the Glens.

This was a satisfactory performance but the team know that they will have to up their performance level for the more difficult challenges to come.
