Dale Gorman has left Glentoran to return to England to join National League club Yeovil Town on undisclosed terms and subject to international clearance. Yeovil Manager Daryl Sarl was Dale’s manager when at Stevenage Borough. Dale joined Glentoran in September 2020, making 28 appearances for the club, scoring twice.
Also Bobby Burns has left the club to return to his parent club Barrow. Bobby was very unlucky in his loan spell with Glentoran, sustaining a serious leg break at Coleraine in only his third game. Bobby’s loan expired at the end of January, but he remained at the club for the rest of the season, working daily with Physio Gareth Robinson to secure his recovery. During that spell he played a very full part in the life of the club.
