The officers and members of Castlereagh Glentoran Supporter's Club are deeply saddened at the passing of our President, Ken Moody. Ken was a dedicated Glenman, his wife often noted that he spent more time at his beloved Oval than he did in his own home. He joined the Castlereagh Club in 1972 and served as Chairman during the 1980-81 season.
Following his many years of dedicated service to Castlereagh Glentoran Supporter's Club Ken was made President in 2009, under his leadership the club flourished and were regularly able to donate five figure sums to our parent club to help with the running costs at the Oval. Ken's funeral will take place at Wiltons Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1pm followed by committal at Roselawn. We would like to take this opportunity to pass on our condolences to Ken's wife, Mary, his son's Ken Jnr, Robert and Sam and the wider family circle.
