For their penultimate Danske Bank Premiership game of the 2014-15 season, Glentoran make the short journey across Belfast to Seaview, home of the champions elect, Crusaders.

In the previous three metings in the Premiership this season the Crues have taken maximum points against Glentoran. On the last Saturday in August they won by a slender 1-nil scoreline but had it not been for the heroic display from Aaron Hogg in the Glentoran goal, it might have been more. Crusaders had a comfortable 3-1 win at the Oval in mid-October and also won 2-1 in January. In the January game though, Glentoran, 2 down at the break, roared back in the second half and having pulled one goal back, were unlucky not to snatch a draw.

There was of course one further meeting of the two sides in the semi-final of the Irish Cup. The Glens went into the game as underdogs but a first half strike from Curtis Allen saw the East Belfast side take their place in the final on 2nd May. You can watch the highlights from that game again on BBC Sport NI HERE

Glentoran have the semi-final goal hero, Curtis Allen back in contention today following his two game suspension so manager, Eddie Patterson, will have virtually a full squad to select from. Kick-off at Seaview is 3pm.
