Glentoran face Ballymena Utd at the Oval in the Danske Bank Premiership this weekend looking to bounce back after a disappointing performance in mid-week in the Co Antrim Shield. It is the second meeting of the teams this campaign, the previous encounter at the Showgrounds ending in a 2-2 draw on 13th September with Fra McCaffrey and Jordan Stewart netting for the Glens. Last season we played Ballymena Utd twice in the league at the Oval. the first game ended 0-0 in September 2013 whilst the second, played on 7th March 2014, resulted in a 3-0 win for the Glens (Danny McKee, Fra McCaffrey & Jim O'Hanlon).
Fra McCaffrey returns to the squad for tomorrow's game along with skipper Elliott Morris who missed last Saturday's and Tuesday night's games with a back injury. If he starts it will be Elliott's 550th game for Glentoran. That would leave him just 5 behind Billy 'the Tank' McCullough who sits third in the all time appearances for Glentoran.
