Jonny Frazer will be leaving Glentoran to join Crusaders when his contracty expires at the end of this month. All of us at Glentoran would like to thank Jonny for his service and to wish him all the best for the future.
Jonny was Mick McDermott's first signing in June 2019 and he made an immediate impression on the Glens support with a hat trick on his first start, against Ballyclare Comrades in the League Cup at the Oval. He played a massive part in our Sadler's Peaky Blinders Irish Cup triumph that season, featuring in four of our five matches, including important sub appearances in the semi final and final. It could be fairly suggested that without his contribution of a won penalty and an extra time equaliser against Portadown we could have been out at the first hurdle. A popular player who leaves with the best wishes and thanks of the Glentoran Family.
