Important Announcement for all season ticket holders

Thu, 20/05/2021 - 22:10

Now that the Northern Ireland Executive has confirmed that a maximum 500 supporters will be allowed into the remaining Danske Bank Premiership matches of this season, we will be able to allow that number of home supporters into our match with Crusaders on Saturday 29th May.

As the permitted numbers will not be enough to accommodate all our season ticket holders., we will revert to our previous system from earlier in the season, when we divided season ticket holders into three groups – A, B and C, with two of the three groups permitted to attend each home game. To ensure absolute fairness we have also continued to allocate games in the order they were allocated prior to the complete exclusion of supporters at the end of 2020.

Therefore the Crusaders match will have Groups B and C admitted.

To gain entry, it will be essential that supporters show both their season ticket and the card showing their group. All season ticket holders were allocated these cards at the start of the season and they only means through which supporters can be sure of gaining admission.

It is impractical for the club to produce replacement group cards, so if you have lost your card there will be stewards at the guest turnstile who will check off people against the season ticket database. To gain admittance this way will need to show your season ticket AND photo ID. No one will be admitted without both.

The match will be streamed by our GlensTV stream in association with 247.tv. As usual this will be free to season ticket holders unable to attend the game.

Everyone at Glentoran looks forward to welcoming our loyal supporters back to the Oval. Further announcements about match protocols, safety regulations, etc will be published on www.glentoran.com nearer to matchday.
