Ian Clarke
The Chairman and Directors are pleased to announce that Ian Clarke will be joining the board with immediate effect.
Ian has worked for 31 years on the commercial side of the publishing industry in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland. He has worked as a Director or Senior Executive of a number of the biggest publishing businesses in the UK.
Ian is a lifelong Glentoran supporter from generations of Glentoran supporters. He attended his first match with his Dad as an 8 year old and apart from a number of years spent living and working in other parts of the UK has been a season ticket holder ever since. He was a regular writer for the Glentoran Gazette in the 1980s.
Ian will assume responsibility for PR strategy and media liaison and will have direct responsibility for co-ordinating the activities of our dedicated social media and website teams. He will also assist the multi award winning Glentoran Gazette in the dissemination of club information and news. A role for which his career experience ably equips him.
