It was a gvictorious trip for Glentoran Women’s Academy Under 19 and Under 17 squad when they travelled to Scotland last weekend.
The Under 19s had a great 5-1 win over Ayr United Women Reserves with goals coming from Rachel McIntyre (2), Mia Rowan (2) and Aimee Johnston.
The Under 17s went even better with a fantastic 7-0 win over Ayr United Women Under 17s. Goals in that game came from Mia McKeown, Mia Moore, Emma Gardner, Amy Majury, Francesca Costa and Mercedes Lundy.
Glentoran Coach Andy Wallace said of the trip: “We had a great trip with two very dominant performances. We would like to thank Ayr United for their warm welcome and to say well done to all our players for doing so well.”
