Last week Glentoran FC joined the NSPCC in their 'Supporting Parents in Sport' initiative, to celebrate the vital role parents play in youth sport. On Saturday, the Academy and their families were invited to the Ballinamallard game where at half time the young players paraded their trophies to the much deserved congratulations from the fans. Paul Stephenson, Child Protection in Sport Unit, joined our Chairman, Stephen Henderson, in presenting the club's recognition certificate to parents.
Stephen said, " Glentoran FC are proud to be associated with the NSPCC initiative . With 400 kids in our Academy we fully appreciate the amount of effort every parent takes to give their kids an opportunity to enjoy being a part of our Academy "
