The Glens recorded a 2-0 win in the annual 'East Belfast Derby' with neighbours Dundela.
Dundela were awarded a penalty in the first half following a foul in the area by Willie Garrett. Keeper, Aaron Hogg saved the spot kick though and Garrett cleared the rebound.
Glentoran were then denied a penalty claim but before the interval Dundela's Scott Collins handled the ball in the area and Glentoran had the chance to open the scoring. Danny McKee stepped up but his strike hit the crossbar and was eventually cleared for a corner.
In the second half McKee made amends for that miss when he put glentoran in front. Dylan Elliott added a second goal to give the Glens a 2-0 win on the night.
