The 2016 / 17 Season is another special year for Glentoran FC as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the historic exploits of the Detroit Cougars squad both at home and in the USA.
To mark this anniversary the 2016/17 Kappa Away shirt will have a special design with the names of our Cougars legends incorporated.
To enable our loyal supporters to participate in the anniversary the club is offering 134 supporters the opportunity to have their own name and/or the name of a loved one included within this special design. If your father or grandfather followed the Glens through this glorious period how better to commemorate them than have their name included in this shirt? Or you can have your own name or your son or daughter included. Or all of them!
Why only 134 Shirts? 2016 also marks Glentoran FC 134th year.
The cost for this is £150 (one name) or £250 (two names) - Note if you pay for two names you are entitled to 2 shirts etc
The first 134 shirts printed will be limited edition and show the edition number i.e. 1/134 etc
Each of these shirts will also come in a Commemorative Presentation Box with an official club Certificate
Kappa have designed this shirt as a fitting tribute to the Cougars and you can cement your name on the jersey along side Glentoran greats like Colrain, McCullough, Thompson, Bruce and McKeag. However the Away shirt will not be available until June 2016 (the 134 Limited Edition will receive their shirt 1 week prior to general release).
This can be a great idea for a memorable Christmas present - if you are interested in purchasing one of the 134 Limited edition shirts as a Christmas Present, we can issue the Official Club Certificate of Authenticity for the shirt so the buyer can give as a Christmas Gift.
