During the 2020/21 season, The National Lottery (TNL) provided funding to the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) clubs to support clubs through the COVID-19 pandemic.
To highlight this and celebrate the unique and amazing role played by clubs such as Glentoran in our local communities The National Lottery in conjunction with NIFL and with the support of the IFA are launching The National Lottery Football Weekends which will take place on three weekends across March and April.
To thank National Lottery players, they will be able to get free tickets on ‘buy one, get one free’ basis for next Monday’s (28 March) home Danske Bank Premiership game against Carrick Rangers at the Bet McLean Oval, kick off 7.45pm.
Every paying adult who shows a National Lottery ticket or other relevant National Lottery product will be permitted to bring one guest (adult, child or concession) with them for free.
To avail of the offer supporters with match tickets purchased online can collect a free match ticket for the Carrick game from the Glentoran Superstore on the following dates:
- Thursday 24 March from 3pm to 6:30pm,
- Saturday 26 March from 10am to 12:30
A current season ticket holder can also collect a National Lottery ticket that can be used to secure a free additional ticket to give to a friend or family member
The National Lottery rules:
- Every paying adult or season ticket holder who shows a National Lottery ticket, will be able to bring one guest (adult, child or concession) with them for free. In essence, it is a Buy One Get One Free offer.
- Ticket offer will only be applicable to home fans in NIFL Premiership games and will be limited to a maximum of 300 total tickets per game.
- Each paying spectator may purchase a maximum of two tickets and therefore can redeem a maximum of two free tickets for any given match.
- All National Lottery products qualify, whether a National Lottery draw-based game e.g. Lotto, scratchcard or online instant win game, whether purchased in store, on The National Lottery website, or via the National Lottery App.
The offer is only applicable to home fans and those collecting their extra free ticket for the game direct from the Superstore. The promotion will not be open to those paying at the turnstile on Saturday or purchasing online tickets from our online portal.
