HOME Halfers Draw
The Half Time 'Halfer's' draw is an institution at The Oval proving extremely popular with the Glentoran supporters.
The draw was started by Tommy McKee who ran the halfers for over ten years and raised in excess of £100,000 for Glentoran.
The halfers is now the responsibility of the 1923 Committee. Tickets are sold by Margaret and John Stewart with Jimmy Carter the 1923 Committee member responsible for the draw.
Last season (2010-11) the halfers raised over £15,000 which was split evenly between the draw winners and the club.
A ticket costs £2 and can be purchased from the Halfers stall after entering a home game. From each ticket £1 is donated to Glentoran Football Club and £1 is given to the prize fund.
